  1. "Loose Change" has been effectively presented to the audience by successfully using all the three components in chapter 11. The first component that was used was "sowing distrust" which was done by arising doubt in what happened on 9/11. During that time, the country was already having trust issues with the government, so saying that the government had planned everything to create the people more nationalistic made sense. Also, The documentary had begun with facts on how the shares to the twin towers were all being sold right before the crash, and how its owner got insurance that would completely cover him if anything like terrorist attacks ever happened. Knowing this can convince anyone that the government knew something like a terrorist attack was going to happen soon.
Another component used in the documentary is challenging plausibility. When describing the crash of the pentagon, the documentary showed various reasons and "facts" to why it had not been crashed by an airplane and instead by a missile. they said that it was impossible for an airplane to completely melt with such low heat in such a short time period, as well as how the pentagon had been conveniently attacked in the opposite side to where the important politicians were. The documentary also used quotes from scientists on how at first they supported what the conspiracists say, and a week later, they would completely change their theories.
The last Component used was Telling a better story. When they showed by video all the bombs going off inside the twin towers, many believed that it was the government who planted them so they could cause a bigger catastrophe. The documentary showed how the government controlled 9/11 in every possible way, causing whoever to have even a little distrust on the government to believe everything they said. Hearing that 9/11 had been an inside job may be easier for most to hear, and that is what conspiracy theorists specialize in.
