draft of proposal

Human rights t has been a problem throughout history with and still is today.  Human trafficking is a modern form of slavery. Human trafficking and the sex trade industry is a worldwide problem.  According to the National Human Trafficking Resource Center, there are 27 million people enslaved worldwide. Those are just the numbers we know of in reality they could be much higher. World wide over 50 % of people persecuted for sex trafficking are women.  This just shows how women need to be more aware and educated about the subject so that they can make sure they do not become a victim. This is not a problem happening Justin other places in the world this is happening in out back yard.  Florida was ranked 3rd for the number of calls received by the center’s human trafficking by the National Human Trafficking Resource Center hotline. In Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has stated a campaign for Florida to be a Zero Tolerance state for human sex trafficking.
Her campaign focuses on awareness and prevention she achieves this by making billboards and getting parents involved.  The campaign is focused for parents, so that they talk to their children about human trafficking. It even has a pledge for their children to sign to make sure they are safe while on the Internet. This prescribes coarse of action to help create a solution.  The campaign is also trying to change people perception of social reality. The campaign uses identification and framing. Identification because she is identifying any girl that goes online can be a victim. She also uses framing to show how easy it is to become part of the human trafficking industry. The campaign uses the slogan “From Instant Message to Instant nightmare”.  Meant to ingrain into peoples minds how easy it is to become a victim the billboard have show girls that are being or have been abducted for the industry they appeal to both pathos and logos to appeal to the viewers.
